I've been lurking the forum a couple weeks now and after a couple revisits I figured its probably worth signing up.

Little bit about myself:

I'm from the United Kingdom, fell into surveying by accident when applying for Universities and it ended up becoming my first choice after reading about it. Guess the mix of outdoors and computers was the decider which I wouldn't have gotten from other degrees I looked at.
I've primarily worked on major civil projects since, current project is working on TBM tunnelling and shafts. Currently working towards my next level of chartership.
I quite like the technical and high accuracy side of surveying so will probably be lurking around those posts, but interested in how people do things in general (anything I can learn which can make my life easier!).
