...and I'm a Forester!

And I own a transit. Three, in fact, and a level, 100ft tape, plumb bobs, etc.

And I had a 3 week course in surveying 30 years ago.

And I own a bulldozer.

And...my father was a civil engineer.

I've been reading old posts for the last month or so, golly gee, this seems like my kind of place...:)

Do you offer mediation services, too?

Confused myself for a second. I saw LA and thought of Los Angeles, not Louisiana. Was trying to imagine being a forester in downtown LA.

Actually, I have three of these as well. One I own and two at work for wildfire control. You think you guys hit buried water lines and power lines? I had a boss that nicked a guy wire for a 200 ft. radio tower and dropped the whole thing on top of an adjacent electrical power substation.

That would be Lower Alabama, oh Exalted Ruminant.

Same heat, humidity, thick flora, homicidal fauna, but generally higher ground.

O I C! Lower Alabama. Is that an elevation thing, a latitudinal thing or a lifestyle thing?

Howdy LA. I'm up in Huntsville. Non native like almost everyone else in the Rocket City. I came in via Kansas and the other LA (Lower Arkansas). But I am getting to know my way around here after three years now.
We did some work earlier this year down in your LA, providing ground control points for a statewide aerial mapping job.

Believe me, after 21 years of serving the public I have definitely developed a sense of humor.

Maybe not a healthy sense of humor...:)
