Hopefully these are suggestions, that others will not find a reason to moan about.
#1 Include a spell checker.
#2 Include the author's name on the "recent posts" pane on the right hand side of the screen.
Browse this site with an iphone and see which buttons are waay too small. The text size could remain the same so it looks good on a PC, but the area surrounding the text that would act as a button could be bigger.

We have not added a spell checker for two reasons: 1.) Chrome and Firefox both have spellcheckers built-in, IE has an extension available called "ieSpell"; and 2.) Simplicity (due mostly because of reason 1).

If you hover over the posts, you'll see more information about that post.

Agreed. One of the bigger plans for us is to incorporate a mobile version of the site. However, we'll need to do some other major upgrades to make that happen (which are mostly in the planning stages, but we are testing some).
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. We really do appreciate it and take everything into consideration.

IPhone user
I am using my iPhone right now.
I have no complaints.
I just "double tap" those areas where I want to "zoom in".
I'll have to check out that spell check add on to IE
I guess I can see the reasoning. However I would still like to actually see who is posting without having to hover the mouse.
As to the iphone stuff, it is true you can double tap to zoom in, unless you happen to click on a link that takes you somewhere else. The log in button is fairly small, or perhaps close to other links. I am making it work, however I have found that websites can be iphone friendly without having a mobile version.
