Curious why occasionally a post gets inserted multiple times.?ÿ

I see my reply to?ÿ https://surveyorconnect.com/community/surveying-geomatics/curta-type-i-a-dream-come-true/ ?ÿinserted itself thrice.

I've seen similar recently.?ÿ

Perhaps you have a sensitive mouse button.

I've double posted a number of times since the latest upgrade.?ÿ Some times there is a hesitation and I hit REPLY a second time. I make a habit of proof -reading my own posts immediately after posting for that inevitable spelling mistake.?ÿ It's easy enough to delete the second post.?ÿ?ÿ

I do all this on a Samsung tablet. No mouse.?ÿ

How does one delete a post? That was my obvious thought. 'just delete it'.

Ah. Does that option disappear after set time? Option available here, now. Not on original post?ÿ

You get one hour (used to be 15 minutes) to edit and/or delete, from the time of first making the post. Regards, Richard.

Ha ha, look at that. I posted while writing an email at the same time, hence the "Regards, Richard". Now I'll have to check what the H I put in the email.

If you hit reply more than once, then it will stack up in the queue and eventually process all of them. The best thing to do is watch the top right corner after you hit reply -- wait for the spinning thing to stop spinning and display "Done!" or whatever message indicating you've completed that particular task. Sometimes it may take a little longer than other times, due to site traffic at the time, your internet speed, traffic in your neighborhood, etc. Even liking something can sometimes take a few seconds.
