Tonight, I received an email notification of a private message?ÿ on the forum, with a minor oddity: The email said the message was from me instead of the user who actually sent it. I found the message and answered it.
But more importantly, also in the pulldown on the message page it lists 14 other frequent posters, with NO CONTENT associated with any of those.?ÿ Seems strange. Almost like some other function is crosswired with the message process.?ÿ Or I don't understand how the message display is supposed to work.

I'll be honest -- I don't really like our PM system. It's not exactly intuitive and I'm hoping to do something about it at some point. I'm just not really sure when.
The button on the left on the Messages page of your profile should show you the latest conversations. Sadly, they don't always display in an appropriate order. :-/

But why do I have so many "conversations" with no content? Did all of those start to send me a message and abort?
I just looked at my list and I do see a couple there that have no content. That is really strange. I'll have to get back to you on that.
I did just install an update for the PM system, which doesn't seem to have fixed this particular issue for me, but I'd be interested in hearing if anything changed on your end.

Probably not from today.?ÿ The dates update with the person's activity elsewhere on the site.?ÿ
Did you at some past time get messages from those people and try to delete them??ÿ The text goes away but the entry in the list does not.
Maybe, but not sure when for Radar and Mighty Moe.?ÿ That would be along time ago.?ÿ Wendell and I had a short chat in December I believe but I had several with Angel around the same time and they do not show up at all.
Update:?ÿ Checked again.?ÿ One from Angel does appear on Jan. 4.?ÿ And that is how it is listed---Jan. 4.?ÿ Older one's are bassackwards, as in, day,month,year.?ÿ Looks weird to see 23/11/19
