This isn't a complaint, and I didn't read all the previous comments....but....when I go to sign-in, I couldn't figure out where the "log in" button was at first. You can just click on the words "Log In" and that does it, but it would look better if it looked like a button or was inside of a little box. I only had trouble once, mind you. After the first time I logged in, I got it. (Or maybe it's just on my computer). So take my comments for whatever it's worth.

Oh, I see what you are saying. The button blends into the background. I'll take care of that.

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. It's stuff like this that helps make the overall experience better for everyone. 🙂

I don't quite get it. If I go to the Home page it says I have to log in. If I do not go to the Home page I can create a thread or post to one, no problem.

I am not complaining, but what exactly is one required to do?

Thing that's not straight forward is the actual link in "likes".
Seems to take on appearance of other text about it.
replied to the thread 27" monitor. There may be more posts after this.

Above in pasted text it's underlined and stands out.
In Alerts it's not underlined until one touches it.
I'm on phone /tablet so maybe different on PC.
I realise it's what comes after 'to the thread' but wonder if better with coloured text.
Then supposesuppose colour blind people would also not see it!

Okay, maybe I didn't explain it well to others, and maybe I don't know the different ways to get in to the threads. But, Wendell at least got what I was saying in my totally non-techy way, and it's fixed now. Thanks Wendell. :gammon: (on target).;-)

Some of the redirection from the old domain (surveyorconnect.com) wasn't working -- however, it should be now. This means that you'll likely have had to re-login in order to see this reply. 😉

To explain things in a nutshell, the base home software is WordPress, a content management system used to build most websites these days. The community part of the website is xenForo, the forum software we switched to last year. Now I have a connector constructed between the two to make the experience as seamless as possible. I'll explain more in an upcoming blog post. 🙂

I just now had to log into the site again after being booted while going to the home page.

A day or so ago while I was logged in, I got the log in screen when I went to the home page. I just back paged on the browser and I was still logged in.
Crazy stuff glad I don't have to deal with it.
