I don't have a solution but I have a similar issue that I wanted to ask about.

After I run Norton Utilities I have to enter password and check the auto login box, and sometimes the site disappears from my favorite list also.

I know someone's gonna say using Norton is my first problem.:-P

To change your password, click on your username at the top right corner (under the search box), then click "Edit Profile", then click "Change Password" and follow the instructions.

I may not fully understand the problem, but I hope that was it. 🙂

Norton is most likely clearing your cookies, which is where your login information is stored. So you need to either remember your password or reset it and then change it back to what you want.

Thanks Wendell, it's not a big deal, just thought I'd ask.

Some of those cleaning programs (like CCleaner, my favorite) will allow you to turn off cookie deletion during the cleanup process. Of course, you'd want to follow cleanup immediately with a malware/spyware checker such as MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware or SpyBot Search & Destroy to make sure you killed off the bad cookies.

Speaking of MalwareBytes, check out this deal:

$20 for a LIFETIME license for real-time protection and lots more. If I hadn't already purchased Avast Internet Security (which covers that and much more), I'd be all over that.
