I just learned (through experience) that the thread editing policy is very different on this site from what it was on the old one. I just edited a post I made several hours ago and which had several responses already in place. I'm not saying this capability is a bad thing, just that it's different. It *could* be exploited by someone to make responses appear to be incorrect, incompetent or nonsensical, but I don't really think that's going to be a problem. The old CLSA forum had this capability, and it never became a problem to my knowledge.
