Nate just passed Keith to move him down on the top ten list.

Cat urine appeared to be the incentive Nate needed to post and repost.

After smelling it for 2 hrs, you cannot really blame me for having it on my mind. At least you could recommend some sort of home remedy to get rid of it. And I mean one better than dog or billy goat pee!!

Few things in life smell like cat pee.

Throw a skunk in there for the night?

My suggestion was made in all sincerity - I once owned a truck that I had bought from an old man who had just gotten too old to drive. Great truck, but one summer day I got caught in a heavy rainstorm about a mile from the truck. When I got back to the truck, the window was down and the truck was soaked. Not a problem, I was drenched too. Drove the truck home and left it in the garage with the windows rolled down to dry out. Once it had dried out, all was fine except for the terribly strong smell of urine which never completely went away. I always figured it was the old man at fault, but your thread got me to thinking that it may have been a cat that got in there with the windows rolled down. Either way, I finally got the smell to go away by selling the truck to someone in the next town (Lufkin, Texas so it probably didn't bother anybody down there). Good luck with your particular situation!

Buy 3 or 4 bottles of Fabreeze and soak down the upholstery and carpet. That stuff gets rid of the odor of spilled gasoline, so I think it may help in your case. Keep spraying it on until you get your results.

Tomato Juice Works On Skunk Sprayed Cats

Yeh, twice in my lifetime so far.

Another thought since we use baking soda to remove odor from the frig is to try it in the truck. A basic powder versus uric acid.

I use baby powder to fight the skunky smell in my armpits, so that might work.

For my smelly feet I use Zeasorb antifungal powder and sprinkle some in my shorts because it also fights crotch rot. Much more expensive than baby powder but it combats the fungus that makes your toenails yellow and gnarly.

It is not neccessarily cat urine, but unneutered Tomcat urine is the worst. That can be fixed although I have no experience with do it yourself.

Attention TPR

You can move past Keith with a mere 50 more posts. Please find a less odorous topic though.

Mr Cow, (Would that be Mr. Bull?) It's gonna be ok. Just remember that skunk in my profile pic? I know a cave where skunks winter. They are cute, and smart.
