A humble suggestion Wendell, perhaps you should try yo recuit a few of the posters who frequent the site. Clearly you have done so in the past, but the selected moderators, by your own statements, are no longer frequenting the site. Share the load chief, many of us value amd love this forum. We are here to help.

Here's the Deal about this place (see what i did there too ;)). This message board is the successor and/or assign to a series of message boards that go back twenty years, and a number of the members have been here from that glorious beginning (I think I first dropped in around 1999). I can understand the dismay of someone who dropped in here, say last Saturday, in the middle of what looks like a dysfunctional family reunion. That is because if you are new around here you did, in fact, drop into the middle of a dysfunctional family reunion.
Given that the individual subject message boards fall under the heading of "community", it might be prudent to take the time to get familiar with the community before venting about it's members. Now back to your regularly scheduled off topic memes and irrelevant you tube videos

Seriously, the arguing with a Ibex video should just be automatically posted to any thread that goes greater than five pages
You did that so very well.
I am appreciative that you left my own delicates relatively intact after my thoughtless (and apparently never to be forgotten) past indiscretions.
Thank you,
Don

Don,
While we are very different individuals, there is no one here that I would rather meet and share an adult beverage with than you.
Fair warning - that may be the beer talking as I have been celebrating Wurstday (traditionally the first Friday after my birthday) here http://schmankerlstube.com/about/ with a group of friends and I've already had four liters of German pilsner.

Amazing coincidence! I'm actually there! If you've been to the men's room, you may have noticed my shoes protruding from under the third table closest to that urgent destination. The spike heels shivering adjacent to those (I must say) tasteful and business casual shoes belong to a young lady I discovered there while recovering my carelessly neglected plumb bob.
If I can sustain an upright position for very much longer, I would love to have a drink with you, my friend.
Don

I don't vent. You see a vent.
I made a comment. I recognize dualities. Good/Evil, Sunnyside of the street/litter and tow away on the other, BBQ joint on one side of the tracks/better BBQ on the "other side of the tracks"
Like icon/??? (C'mon a dislike icon is difficult....really)
I did not know there was a seniority status in play here. That's quite odd for a discussion forum. But I guess some long time members have a 'member' complex of some sort.
So if the norm here is to post some silly video from youTube or the family archive for chuckles and likes, I offer the following
Gotta run, off to the races tomorrow and maybe Florida shortly after. I really don't want to go.
