Anyone have experience with these, and what's your opinion?

From the specs it looks like it's missing the L5 signal...
Are you looking for new or used??ÿ
The Brx6 has been moved to legacy status and Carlson now has the new BRx6+
From the specs BRx6+ has L5
I'm just looking for feedback on Carlson brand GNSS.?ÿ I wasn't looking necessarily for the 6 or 6+.?ÿ Just wondering if as good or better than the other brands.?ÿ Thanks
They're fine receivers. They're the same as the Hemisphere s321/s321+. Where are you located? What software are you using currently for you data collectors?
I've used Leica, Trimble, and Topcon, with those brand collectors.
I'm not looking right now.?ÿ I'm just curious about what those who've bought it like it compared to what they might've been using before.?ÿ I like Carlson office software and data collection software, so I want to know about the GPS.
If you had the money to go buy a new network rover, what those who've tried Leica, Trimble, Topcon, Carlson, etc, would they go for the Carlson complete setup over the others??ÿ Or does it not compare well to some of the others?
If I had the money to buy whatever I wanted?
Id pick up the new Leica GS18. The tilt sensor on that thing is out of this world but the setup is close to 30k.?ÿ

The trimble is an amazing receiver, and imo their software is some of the best ?ÿ- especially when we??re talking about firms with multiple crews.

Now if I was looking for a receiver in the same price range as the Carlson BRx6+, personally I wouldn??t pick it up. I??d go for the CHC i70+ or i80, possibly even the GeoMax Zenith 35 Pro which is a smidge more expensive, but not much.?ÿ
I personally prefer the i80??s trimble board (the i70+ uses a novatel board) and in testing I found the CHC??s to connect and give a fixed position faster than just about anything else even in tree cover.?ÿ
I think right now, if I was to go start a surveying company and needed a GNSS setup Itd look something like this:
CHC i80 Receiver
Spectra Precision Ranger 7
Carlson SurvPc
We picked one up last year.?ÿ If you're used to Carlson software, it's super easy. It's pretty much the exact same program as the data collector for an optical instrument/robot, with a few menus for the GPS .?ÿ ?ÿI'm impressed with the interface, and results seems on par with the Trimble and Topcon gear I'm used to.?ÿ We use the State of Florida DOT correction service, so it's just turn on and go, for the most part.?ÿ ?ÿYou can use the collector to switch back and forth from GPS to optical work, which is nice.?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿPrice seemed pretty good too.?ÿ?ÿ
