Will these 2 work with each other??ÿ Trying to run Trimble R8s (Base and Rover Setup) with this PDL.?ÿ Thanks in advance.
I am not 100% sure, but I think the radio will transparently send data packets to the rover. The base and rover over the air formats must be the same (i.e. trimtalk, etc). But I can't find anything in the R8 manual about that, so I might be wrong.?ÿ?ÿ
Actually, now that I think about it that (trimtalk, etc) might be the format for radio-to-radio, in which case the PDL and the rover radio must both have the same format available. The receiver just sends the data to the radio, and then the radio formats it to transmit to the rover radio, which then "unformats" it for the rover to process.?ÿ?ÿ

Just checked on an R10, here are the formats available for the radio...
R8 probably has less (older receiver?)
