On Friday, September 25, 2015 a crowd of hungry surveyors drawn by the promise of a free lunch descended on the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Education Center.
This was one of the best seminars I have attended.
High points:
- Experienced presenters.
- Three different networks, with three different scopes, three different motivations, and three different economic models presented.
- Major brands presented their GNSS products, one after the other, providing contrasts between the re-sellers and their products.
- Control points with provided by Larry Signani, to be used to compare the different networks.
I have to give a big thanks to the South Puget Sound Chapter of the LSAW, the presenters Larry Signani, Gavin Schrock, Mark Holden, Jill Johnson, and the vendors, including: Geoline, PPI, Kuker-Ranken, and Carlson.
Thanks Dave! Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you; with 150+ people there it was kinda busy...B-)
I'm glad you had a good time. The folks in the back had some issues with the A/V; but other than that, I think everyone got their money's worth...
I was not allowed to come. It was too far. I'd have loved it!

Hmm, totally missed this event, I would of made the drive up from Oregon if I had know!

We're going to have to do this again; it was just too good to just do once....B-)
Not sure if I can pull it off for free, next time....
