Is anyone else encountering script errors on OPUS? I've encountered several each session yesterday and today while using Mark Silver's X90 download program. There doesn't seem to be affect on whether the data gets uploaded, but it is annoying.

Guess I'll try a straight upload direct from the NGS website and see what happens.

PS Well, a direct upload encountered no javascript errors.

I applaud Mark's efforts at making his products as easy to use as possible, but I also appreciate the challenge of maintaining software compatibility with software developed and maintained by an unrelated party. That tends to be a moving target.

I just (9:30 pm Sun 11 Oct 2015) checked on several machines (WinxP, Win7, Win8 and Win10) and all worked with no issues.

I think (and in this case I am not positive because I don't have all of the details) that the script errors are caused by the Internet Explorer on specific machines being incompatible with the JScript on the NGS website. The oldest IE version that I have available to test on is V8 (released March 2009.)

Can you manually submit using the Internet Explorer on this machine? Which version of Internet Explorer is installed?
What version of Windows?

There is a temptation to use Chrome automation instead of IE, but Chrome is not installed on many machines.

There is also a temptation to just push the files up to the NGS straight-away, but I think there is real value in showing the actual process, with the visual NGS forms and screens. (New users get to see the levers behind the curtain, NGS announcements are displayed.)

Windows 7 Pro 32bit
Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.18015

No errors uploading the "O" file directly with either IE or Firefox.

However, if I try to upload the X90D *.zip file directly, I get an error with a big red X - but it appears to be processed anyway.

Using X9x Download (B9163)
On submission of datafile to OPUS (CTRL-V, etc)
An error has occurred on this page
Line 53
Char 1
Error 'Glcon' is undefined
Code 0
URL: http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/OPUS/javascript/Globals.js

Seems no difference whether I continue running scripts or not.

Upon pressing "Upload to Static", script error
Line 168
Char 73
Error: The value of the property 'GUnload' is null or undefined, not a Function object
Code: 0
URL: OPUS: the Online Positioning User Service, process your GNSS data in the National Spatial Reference System

OPUS still processes

OOPS!!! Now closing X9x download produces the same script error as the "Upload to Static" does.

None of this happened before. Do I need a new X90 Download version?
