I got a new old receiver in the mil today and tried it out tonight. I collected about 45 minutes in the first hour of GPS day 073, i.e. 3/14/2015. My antenna was inside my house and collecting through the attic and roof. Under those conditions I got up to 6 satellites. Brought it into Ashtech Solutions and then went looking for something to process it against.
At 10 minutes after the hour I saw 1 NJ CORS with available data. Since it was not a site I use often, I opted to download LAMT in New York state. I used teqc to parse to 10 second data, GPS only, L1, L2, C1, P2. I processed against it and my file seemed OK. at 30 minutes after the hour two of my usual sites had data, PAMS and NJWC. I downloaded and parsed them, getting twice s good solution. At 60 minutes after the hour my other local site LUMT is not yet available. Most of my local work is inside the triangle of those three CORS.
I will check in another hour and see also if the first ultra-rapid orbit is also available.
I've never tried processing so quickly. Tomorrow this receiver will go outside for an OPUS observation. It may even go to a job with another receiver ot two to establish SPC and elevations for a grading plan.

What'd you buy?
A Sokkia Z-12 with issues. It may be the on/off switch or it appears to be the internal battery. If I have time I'll open it up tomorrow and put a battery tester to the internal memory batteries.
LUMT was still not available, so I went to their site. Data unavailable for several recent days. The ftp site did not have the ultra-rapid orbit yet, so I grabbed it from the igs site.
