Today, I had my OPUS shared position kicked back. My solution did not agree very well so I'm double checking my submission, but pretty sure my setup was good, accurate HI, and no known local tectonics. NGS said most (95%) OPUS shared solutions are within 7 cm of NGS ellipsoid heights. My solution was 65.1cm above. Take a look at the local & network accuracies for that mark??
Rumor has it in AK, there is a known issue in the Geoid12B error reporting in some parts of Alaska that reports the decimal place in the incorrect spot... 0.8299m is more likely (Wardwell dredged this tid bit up again recently)
This is in the town of Eagle Alaska. Anyone else experience this level of inaccuracies?
Thanks.
Joel
Please ignore the copy and paste mistake from my first posting, 2nd paragraph. The part about 0.8299m is more likely... This sentence is not relevant.
