I checked the NGS future webinars last night and for some reason decided to also see what training courses will be offered at the Corbin Training Center and found this webinar for the OPUS Projects User Forum that is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 2;00 - 3:30 p.m. ET.
I attended the first two webinars after receiving an email invitation since I am a registered OPUS Projects manager. I'm posting it here in case others are interested, but didn't get an email notice this time. Short notice, but registration is still open.
I didn't find an agenda for the webinar, but it may include information on an OPUS Projects beta release (April 13, 2017). I believe this beta release is NGS's attempt to use OPUS Projects as a substitute for blue-booking. Here is a link to the web page. It includes a video and slides of Mark Schenewerk's presentation.
Using OPUS-Projects to Submit GPS Surveys to NGS
Bumping this TTT in case someone missed it.
I watched it and learned some things even though I've never worked through OPUS Projects. I saw several familiar names from this forum in the list of attendees.
One of the things I was interested in was addressed, but only to say "not yet." OPUS Projects requires 2-hour sessions minimum, but NGS 58 and 59 are predicated on 30 minutes of good data for the local network, which means that you won't be able to bluebook height mod projects with OP2IDB without totally blowing up the observation schedule. Mark Schenewerk said that they're looking at using shorter observation times for OPUS Projects, but I didn't get any sense of when they'll be accommodated, if they're accommodated at all.
Bill I guess you where part of the 3% like me.
Signed up last week and the link in this morning's email would not connect. Tried a couple times with some assistance from the contact person, but no go. 2 others in my office got on and said it looks like some major changes coming. I'll try to watch the recorded version when it becomes available.

Missed it due to other obligations. I plan to watch the recorded version as well. I'd appreciate it if you would post on here when you see it available.

Doesn't do much good to learn about a webinar on June 7 on the morning of June 8 lol. I too would appreciate a heads up on the recorded version.
Those folks at NGS go the extra distance to do a thorough job. I had submitted a question that they didn't get to in the webinar, and I was surprised to get an email answer.
For those that missed the presentation last Wednesday, the presentation recording is now available. Here is a link to the NGS Online Learning Resources web page with the presentation being the first choice.
Dr. Dan Gillins presentation included some graphics with "design curves"' showing the horizontal and vertical accuracies as a function of occupation time and number of occupations. They are located between 38:20 and 43:00 of the presentation.
For those interested, the beta of OPUS Projects IDB is scheduled for release in August 2017. This is being touted as a replacement for blue-booking.
