I really hope thats not the case.?ÿ?ÿ
I recently had the same issue when I switched to the new iPhone Pro. ?ÿAfter 2 weeks of absolute frustration, a Trimble Service tech told me that Trimble does not work well with iOS. ?ÿEven though you initially connect, Access will drop connection when another WiFi is detected. ?ÿPurchased the MiFi8800 and haven??t had a single issue. ?ÿYou can visit?ÿwww.technomadia.com where they discuss some of the benefits of the MiFi regarding the number of antennas as well as the number of LTE bands. ?ÿThe option of an external antenna is an extra bonus if you are having a weak signal.
The MiFi device had it's own Verizion account that cost $20 a month for 2 Gig of data.
Sounds like a cheap solution to try this again?
I would second this
I know that when my kids run spotify on the home computer - even just as a background process - the performance drops off so much as to be unusable.

@bushaxe yes Bart is the man. Also to the OP - call Duncan Parnell and see if you can email your issues to Mark White their training coordinator. He knows the NC VRS system exceptionally well from the Trimble side
@wagner152 yes this is true - I have tried with multiple iPhones without any success between them and two different Trimble data collectors. a MiFi is the way to go
Verizon should allow for a MIFi device to be added to a cell phone plan for $10 per month. It will share the data with the cell phone.
@wagner152 this isn??t true. I have a coworker who uses iPhone 6s as a hotspot for TSC3 and TSC7.
