I??m using a Trimble NetR5 as a RTK base (on my farm). A cell based setup with Lebebure NTRIP android clients on rovers (tractors). Works fine.
My NetR5 is currently on firmware 4.70. This should also be good enough to handle the coming GPS week rollover.

The latest (and last? as it is not supported anymore) firmware for NetR5 is 48.01.
Would there maybe be any benefits to upgrade from 4,70 to 48.01. The cost for getting a newer firmware warranty date needed is around 0.5 k.
I have tried to study release notes carefully, but the information there is not that all that detailed??.
Answering my own old question (in case someone else is looking for this piece of information)...
I got my old NetR5 updated from 4.70 to fw 48.01
Glonass tracking became better. On fw 4.70 it was not tracking all of them right but now with 48.01 it seems to be good.
