Part 1 is on Geometry Coordinates and will be presented by Dr. Dru Smith. It's at 2 PM EDT, July 13, 2017. I will unfortunately be at the Esri User Conference. The description is:

During the 2017 Geospatial Summit, NGS shared recent technical and policy decisions regarding plans to replace the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83). This information is also captured in NOAA Technical Report NOS NGS 62, "Blueprint for 2022, Part I: Geometric Coordinates."

Briefly, NGS will replace the three versions of NAD 83 with four terrestrial reference frames, called:

North American Terrestrial Reference Frame of 2022 (NATRF2022)
Pacific Terrestrial Reference Frame of 2022 (PTRF2022)
Caribbean Terrestrial Reference Frame of 2022 (CTRF2022)
Mariana Terrestrial Reference Frame of 2022 (MTRF2022)

This webinar will continue discussion on this topic.

At the beginning of the webinar, NGS will ask 3 ice-breaker questions specific to the webinar topic. To respond to these questions, please visit https://www.pollev.com/noaangs . Note that a previous poll might be displayed until the moderator activates the specific poll questions for this webinar.
