i have been looking for help.
Working with RTK leica GS15 + CS15 and starting a new day at work I m not getting able to set the new point following the last available point, included on the points list. I must be doing something wrong not getting to the correct screen to set "this next point" available. Could someone help me??
I know that this is possible, even My old Spectra Precision Epoch 35 had this option but I did not find anyone able to help me.
Are you using Leica software?
Yes, 100% Leica hardware & softwares.
I just want the CS15 ready to ask me "this point # already exists, do you want to overwrite it or set a new point # or go the next?"
Without this could be very dangerous maybe saving points with same number but different coordinates. Try to fogure the mess!
Thx

The CS15 doesn't have point protection (i.e. 1 coordinate per point) so you wont get the warning you want. The software is written to allow for averaging of multiple shots to the same point. But you have a few ways for a work around. Download the "Find Next Number" from the Leica Myworld website. If you have never been here you will need to register. Once the app is loaded, set it up as a hotkey. There you can call for the next available number and it will insert it into the Point ID. Another work around is to set your averaging really low in the average tab in Job Properties. I have mine set for 0.004' that way every point is out of tolerance. If the average screen prompts you to average against a previous shot, hit the back arrow to return to the measure screen. It will try the next number and you will need to shoot it again.
