OPUS uses only the published values.?ÿ How well CORS may be performing in the solution will show up in the peak-to-peak values for the latitude, longitude and ellipsoid height components.?ÿ As long as I'm on this topic I will encourage all OPUS users on this board to be VERY cautious about accepting the uncertainty for the GPS-derived NAVD 83 orthometric height.?ÿ They are pretty optimistic. ?ÿ The OPUS utility does not use the uncertainties from the GEOID12B model which I have found to usually be 2-7 cm higher than whatever OPUS says the orthometric uncertainty is.?ÿ I posted this to them back in September.?ÿ They have acknowledge the error but have yet to make any correction in the utility or post anything on the web site.?ÿ

We had a discussion here about the lack of realistic geoid uncertainties quite a while back.?ÿ The other point that came up then was the incorrect way the 1.6... factor between pk-pk?ÿ and rms was applied in the formula.
