Hi,

i am trying to import some RINEX files in Trimble Geomatic Office(TGO) and it gives me the next error report:

'No position available from header or estimation.
Header transfer failed.

No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=3 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=11 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=14 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=18 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=19 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=21 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=22 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=27 WK=634 SEC=104005.9
No ephemeris at time of obs: PRN=32 WK=634 SEC=104005.9

Ignoring "APPROX POSITION XYZ". (6374 km from estimated position.)

Out of range position in header will force clock offset computation.'

Has somebody any idea why this occures?

Any suggestion would be appreciated!

Thanks

Do You Have The "n" Files To Go With The RINEX "o" Files ?

If not they can be created by renaming the daily generic "n" file from the CORS ftp site.

Are you really processing data from March of 1992?

Sounds like maybe the TGO "Billion Second" problem to me.

Hi Loyal,

i dont have the '1 billion sec' error anymore due to a solution i found by changing the datum in the GPS raw data. It's working fine.

I dont think this is my problem now..

Ephemeris error report in TGO RinexDates bug again!

Hi,

If you use the RinexDates program that will be the problem, the backdating with 22 years is having troubles with the leap year 1992.
I'll have to do some coding during the weekend and hope to post a downloadlink somewhere sunday evening.

I allready had some mails from Russia and Morocco.

Christof.
