Carlson GPS

Being a dealer for Carlson (yes, full disclosure, I'm a fan of their products) I've had a chance to get my hands on both the BRx5 and BRx6 (Hemisphere S321). Both units perform impressively, but I really like the look and feel of the new BRx6. The design and construction just exude quality! It's super compact and not at all plasticky like the BRx5. The first time I turned one on I was surprised and delighted to see how fast it picked up satellites and achieved a fixed position using the CA Realtime Network. The BRx5 was very good, and I think the BRx6 takes a major step forward from that. I was using the Surveyor 2 data collector with the latest version of SurvCE.
