Best available new $10,000 GNSS base or rover

Relevant to this discussion is boards. Just because NovAtel, Trimble, et al OEM boards, doesn't mean they are necessarily ALL the same with same options, I have been told on pretty good authority that boards in Leica branded units are different than those in other OEM's that get boards from NovAtel who of course is part of the Hexagon family along with Leica.

I think I would be cautious with a thought process that assumes you are getting a brand "X" measurement engine and comparing that to brand "X's" own line of receivers, sure it may have some of the same heritage and come from the same factory, but are you getting the same thing?
