Hello everyone, I am a coastal geographic surveyor based out of South Carolina. I specialize in topographic and bathymetric surveys in the near coastal zones. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with surveying in Aruba? I have managed to track down the Aruba Datum of 1951 as referenced here http://www.asprs.org/a/resources/grids/07-2002-aruba.pdf but I have not been able to see which vertical datum I should use. Any information anyone can supply would be great. Also I am glad to be apart of this forum and community.
Thanks,
Capt. Giles
Professor Cliff Mugnier is a member of this site and I found his article from 2002. Maybe he will see your post and give more information.
Oops sorry same article. But look up his profile on the board here and maybe he can help.
