Our product literature is written to "industry standard" to make comparisons for future customers simpler. But in our software, we often show accuracy estimates at the 95% confidence interval, because, as you point out, it is much more realistic usually.

Loved the m-local feature, haven't set the base up on a control point since (unless it's already the best point on site for GNSS) and could see it being good if you were doing monitoring type surveys and needed the extra precision. Got used to days collector in head but we ran a robot a lot and was a little hassle to swap coords between the two but with USB and practice only a few mins.
