thanks john, yeah he passed jan. 16th. battled cancer for 8 months, mom passed last april and he was diagnosed right after she passed. I am working for the state now part time. Will be moving to mahoning county in a few weeks. you still in touch with mike? tom?
Why hasn't anyone offered up Albert Seabright's name for surveyor of the past?
goog point i realy never thought about it. he was the man in southeast ohio for some time.
I talk to Mike time to time, but haven't talked to Tom for a long time.
If you are planning on doing surveying work . . . privately, in Trumbull County, I have about 7 or so gigabytes of data from the county and other surveyors.
John
no i am kinda outta the business too, other things i wanna do, i think i will build furniture for a living. my wife is the new CEO of MYCAP, may do a job here or there still have a few old clients down southern ohio. things been slow here for a few years. george was just getting by when he got sick.
WOW!
I'm more than happy to get more from the equipment since I'm retiring and I could use it. I'm just looking for a fair price and $600 each would be enough to sell.
Since the price is low(unless someone wants to make an offer), I'd like to see someone who can really use the equipment to get it. Oh the PM2's have the S&G software too.
The GPT2005 is reflectorless and was calibrated about a year ago. Used very little since. There's an extra battery(condition is opened), which I intended to put a battery pack in. If I can find the battery pack I can include it. I had actually thought of making the second battery actual AA batteries instead.
I also have three bipods and one mini bipod.
I'm not certain how soon I can get rid of the 2005 . . . have to finish some things.
Steve
If you do some work I can help you . . . if I'm not sailing

Like I said in the thread last night I WILL TAKE IT.
I'm ready for the gun whenever you get done with it. And rest assured it will be put to good use. I have a 3003 just like it and I love that gun because it is so light weight. The email in my profile is good or you can call me at the number on my website in my signature.

Need to talk to the boss man. I have been looking for Promark 2's for awhile. Let me get back to you. I would use these everyday this summer, so they would be put to great use. Would like to find 2 or 3 more as well.

do you have any PM2 for sale?
bit too soon for me
I would be interested in all that equipment.
If only it was one month later. hopefully I will be able to upgrade my equipment soon. I got a call to come in tomorrow to sign for my first big contract in 3 yrs.
I still have 3 units for sale
bit too soon for me
As things sometimes work out, long distance sales is not easy since it requires faith from each party that the equipment is usable and the price is actually paid.
If possible I would prefer a somewhat local sale(Ohio).
I actually showed the units the last 2 days to a surveying buddy, but after a little contemplation, I informed him that he wasn't ready to operate GPS ... he was somewhat overwhelmed with the sometimes somewhat complicated operations involved.
In any case, at this time I still have the units and will probably have them next month.
I also have a Geotech precision tilting level(higher power scope and split level on a pivot), available
I also have three micro(peanut), prisms that slide on a 3/16(maybe 1/4") rod and I think I have a few peanut prisms with 5/11 threads(like on a prism rod), 15' prism rods and some of the sordid(assorted), equipment that a surveyors wind up with after 30+ years of practice ... even black & olive green ribbon ... if I can find it.
if anyone has a Terramodel USB dongle for sale, I might be interested. I just need to be able to import points, make lines and overlay aerials ... nothing heavy duty.
bit too soon for me
How much for the 3 bipods you mentioned?
