[msg=294220]TOPCON CTS-3005 Total Station[/msg]

Looking to get $3,300.00 + Shipping (Negotiable). Can opt out the Bluetooth adapter and/or opt in a brand-new non-optical TOPCON tribrach.

Thanks for looking, email is in profile...

Matt

I am surprised that has not sold yet. $3300 for a clean robot seems good.

Not a robot. It is a 5" reflectorless total station.

Without bothering you via email (and, maybe someone else knows too), but what is the difference between the CTS and GTS designations, besides the name? What makes it a "construction" total station?

Thank you 🙂

In not sure of all the differences, but the one I owned had reduced internal software...no MLM, no PTL etc., but if you're not using the internal software, that shouldn't be a factor. Also mine didn't have a port for a DC, but it looks like this one does. Also, I read that the optics weren't quite as good because of the shorter distances involved; I didn't notice though that they were substandard.

Thanks rfc!

I spoke with a Carlson rep today re: this instrument and SurvCE 1.67, and he was unsure if the CTS used the same software driver as the GTS or similar. We came to the conclusion that it probably does. Any thoughts?
