Longtime Montana land surveyor Virginia Mueller has retired and will sell her surveying equipment at live auction on Saturday 06 June. The auction will be at the Park County Fairgrounds at Livingston, Montana which is on Interstate 90 in southcentral Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park.

For more information, see the auctioneer's web site at http://loganauction.com/auctions/ - under Upcoming Auctions see the 06 June auction. The surveying equipment is being sold without minimum or reserve - everything will have a new owner when the auction is over.

The auctioneer welcomes absentee bidding - I am waiting for a return call from him for more details on this. There is a UPS Store in Livingston that can handle boxing and shipping.

All this equipment was always used by or under the close supervision of Virginia or her late husband Buzz, so it definitely has not been abused.

Virginia purchased the Trimble 5700s and the Trimble R8s from my previous business, Inland GPS.

The Trimble R8s are the R8 Model 2 version, which receive and use the GLONASS signals in addition to GPS. Both of these Trimble R8s have the UHF-broadcast option enabled.

The Trimble R8 Model 2s and the Trimble Trimmark 3 can be converted to narrowband operation simply by installing a frequency file, which can be done by the buyer with their computer - there is no need to ship the receivers or radio modem to a repair facility to change the frequencies and/or bandwidth.

I can and will provide at no charge any frequency files required by the buyer(s).

If you have any questions about the Trimble items, please contact me by email through this forum. If I cannot answer your questions I will provide Virginia's contact information so you can communicate with her by phone or email.

There are also some great shotguns and rifles on this auction - take a look at those as well.

Thanks Glenn. I'm actually going to be in Boze on Saturday. Maybe I'll run over the hill.
