Little late to the party, but I'm glad to hear that you found the program out at WCCC / Colorado Mesa.?ÿ I was in a similar situation, having a prior bachelors in engineering, so I really only had to take the relevant Survey courses to complete my Associates.?ÿ Took all the courses online and even went full bore for a semester, working full time and completing 16 credit-hours.?ÿ Glad to have it in my rear-view, but it's an amazing option for anyone.?ÿ?ÿ
I've also considered going to a full bachelors in Surveying, anyone have experience with the Wyoming or New Mexico programs?
I'm in the NMSU Program.
Only downside is the classes are not always available, i.e. every other semester/ prerequisites. Depends on enrollment and staff scheduling.
It's online 100% too if you want.
They have some fluff classes that I'm protesting because they're touchy feely non surveying classes, and padding the tuition for the university.
"Seeing the world from a different perspective".
Yeah. I spent a month alone in Kuwait supporting an OrthoPhoto lidar project. I've seen and been in the world from many perspectives.
Get off my lawn I have a fever ??æ.
?ÿ
@jitterboogie Haha, well you know those universities have to add those pad classes not just for them, but also for the low-hanging student populations to keep their GPAs up.?ÿ Still, doesn't help too much when you're past the "I'm not sure what I want to do when I grow up" stage.?ÿ
Do you have a good faculty contact for NMSU?
