I am taking a road trip beginning in Clemson S.C. on Thursday, down thru Georgia Friday, and over to Alabama on Saturday to hang out with a few surveyor friends, talk shop, and make new surveyor friends. If anyone wants to join in the fun let me know.
Do one have to hear about Javad systems or is it just hanging out?
There is a thin line that maybe is being crossed here. Intentions should be upfront. It's all about trust.
Have a safe trip.

You have to listen to the good news about Javad; but Adam and his fellow consultants are subtle about it. ;):)

Of course I will have my equipment with me. And of course all are welcome, no matter of the brand you use. I plan on having a good time. Forgive me if it gave you pause.

One has to be transparent.
Yes , you are a surveyor but if you are traveling to Birmingham as a instrument monger to give a demo...you need to state that is what the road trip is about. Personally, I really don't care but I do like people being upfront.
Happy trails to you.
Where is that banner?

Not planning on making it into Birmingham, but if there is any beerleggers who would like to catch a beer near Cleburn that would be cool.
Pick me up on your way, sounds like a fun trip through some areas I have never been. I have time off too.

I would love to see your part of the country Jon.

He is meeting me at the Alabama Welcome Center on I-20 to give me a demo. By the way Adam, watch out for the people in Clemson. They have been known to snatch a trophy at the last second!

Are they EVER going to finish work on I-20. My daughter started school in Birmingham in 2000 and they were working on it. They are STILL working on it. Sorry for the hijack.
Andy
Alabama has been rebuilding and adding lanes to it in sections where the pavement has deteriorated. I drove it yesterday and saw work on a stretch of about 3 miles beginning at the state line. When that's done, the only part remaining is about 6 miles near Talladega. Georgia is starting some expansion work as well.
