We have 145 people signed up to attend the two-day seminar for Determining Elevations with GNSS and Real-time Kinnematic Surveying and Best Practices in New Orleans. 16 pdhs - free. Includes free coffee breaks & box lunches.

www.C4G.LSU.edu

We still have room for 55 more people if anybody's interested ...

Can we bring our bathing suits... Ride the Zephyr

in our daydreaming...
oops.. I guess not since the COE opened the Bonne Carre' last month unless one wants to be a test rat for some new mega-antibiotics.
I think I saw the last July 4th firework display out there in the 70's while laid out on some grass on a neutral ground.

Like a fool, I swam in the lake one hot day in the 70's. Developed a severe ear infection in no time and went in the middle of the night to the Tulane Eye and Ear clinic on Loyola Ave and begged and screamed my way in and was treated.

Make a lot of coffee
I signed up a few weeks ago. I received my email confirm.
I guess one has to bring that along to get passed the gate keeper.

Is the light house still there?
I think there use to be disk on it that I recovered for NGS during the Orleans Parish Cadastre mapping

Last time I looked, the Lighthouse is still there.

My first wife, Miss Personality, once had a souvenir piece of whitewashed cypress that she "acquired" from the rubble of the old Zephyr when they tore it down.
