When I took the FS, any calculator was allowed and I took an HP 48 with Survey Pro along with a cheap scientific calculator. It turned out that I only used the 48 for one problem, and could have worked it pretty easily with the scientific calculator. The test was written in such a way that the 48 was really not very helpful. That was before the test was computerized, so I don't know what it's like now.
