Anyone know? I can't seem to find it on their web page.
Yes, I saw that page, and the links the to "ProEd" (which is the distance learning section) make no mention of "Geomatics Engineering". I remember looking at this program two years ago, and the ProEd section had Geomatics course descriptions, program information, and registration information. That all seems to be removed.
The old link:
https://engineering.purdue.edu/ProEd/credit/Geomatics
is dead and just redirects you back to the ProEd homepage ...
Ah. I'm not sure - maybe call or email one of the faculty.
I was very interested in it, as my BSCE is from there. I began the process a couple of years ago, but it never seemed to gel, so I pretty much gave up on it.
I got this response today from Purdue:
Regarding your inquiry about Geomatics MS via Distance Learning at
Purdue, yes you can still get
such a degree, but we have reorganized things and it is not so visible
as before. Now the degree itself
will be an Interdisciplinary Engineering Degree that would include a
core of Geomatics courses plus
some electives from supporting fields. We are in the process of
preparing some new descriptive materials
with sample curricula. We will forward those to you when ready.
