Took the Arkansas Test this morning down in Little Rock. I was finished about 10. I got the results emailed to me at 12:20!
Fantastic, what a wonderful Board!

Awesomesauce.
Congratulations. Times they are a changin. Nice to avoid the torturous wait...
Congratulations!!! The 6 weeks I had to wait on mine felt like 6 years. Glad they got to it quickly.
That's awesome. Congratulations. Back in 2001 I took my AR test on a Friday, and had a letter in the mail informing me I had passed on Wednesday. I took the KY test in 2015 in January, and found out that afternoon I had passed.
Jerry is so right. It sure beats the waiting.
Kuddos...........

Thanks Jimmy. When I took KY they called me about 1:30 to tell me I passed after finishing at 10:30. They asked if I wanted to come by and pick up my license or have it mailed. I was already a few beers into post test mode, so I opted for mail. Had it in my hand two days later.
Arkansas though....2 and half hours after I walked out the door, graded, and back to me. With an email copy of my license ID wallet card. I literally could have done a survey and had it recorded (if I could acquire a seal that fast) the same day I took the test.

Great job was wondering if you live there?
I am a third generation surveyor (want to be) in Florida, but here where i live you must have a college year degree. which isn't the end of the world, but i have 3 children and work 6 days a week so time is not my friend if you get my drift i signed up with this group because i really love surveying and all that goes with it and all the different topics that are survey geared here is awesome. I was wondering if anyone here had any wisdom they could share with me on getting licensed ps.sorry for the novel of a post

No, I live and work in the St. Louis Metro area, but we cover all of Missouri. I have recorded more plats in rural Missouri that in the City. Also, we have been turning away work in Arkansas for months - that will change here in the next few weeks once we get all our paperwork and Certificate of Authorization in place. Maybe we will open an office down in Arkansas? Hopefully if we do it will be near the lakes deep in the Ozarks.
