I am starting to agree whole heartedly about education. I think if I could go back I would trade the GED for a diploma and maybe see where that took me. What I am not sure of is the $88,000 degree program, I mean that is almost a whole years salary ;-).
College of the Canyons Community College in Valencia, CA has a surveying program.

Please help compile a comprehensive list of surveying/geomatics programs and contacts. The attached spreadsheet has a fairly extensive list containing info for about 81 surveying/geomatics programs in the US and Territories. I'm sure that with the assistance of the surveyorconnect community, we can fill in any missing blanks.
Let's make this a compete (as of now) list of surveying/geomatics programs - the list sorted by state. Please review your state (and others that you know about) - post missing or correction information in a response.
Perhaps SurveyorConnect can make this list a permanent post at the beginning of this forum - this is a great start to maintaining a comprehensive list.
Thanks,
John
You can add one more to you list for NY - Paul Smiths College

I am not sure if the surveying course at Ulster County College is ABET accredited

Thanks Scott - is this different than the College of the Canyons in Santa Clara (see Row 10 in https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g3qgTZ4RTkllXIqndfhw5LRv_dmzIjdDgo57tvJ0uJU/edit?usp=sharing ) ?
If so, please update the google doc directly - Thanks

Please add these - it doesn't matter if they are ABET accredited.
