Jack Weinberg was a student at Berkley when he was quoted as follows:?ÿ "On November 15, 1964, the San Francisco Chronicle printed the story, quoting Weinberg as saying "We have a saying in the movement that you can't trust anybody over 30."
?ÿ
That was 55 years ago!?ÿ So, it seems that line of trust has slowly edged up to 85.?ÿ Or, is it still 30?
I don't trust I'll remember that in 15 years time
"We have a saying in the movement that you can't trust anybody over 30."
?ÿ
Its been revised to "We have a saying in the movement that you can't trust anybody under 65."
Jack Weinberg needs to understand probably half of the people he runs into every day was born around the time he qualified for social security.?ÿ I personally don't trust anyone under the age of 30...and I'm fixin' to probably bump that up to 40.
Never heard of him so I had to find him on Wiki which describes him sorta like some new age hippie wanna be communist, therefore I?ÿ gotta ask what brings him to mind that you would post about him?
I think it's true.
The young people (who are going to pay the price for our collective stupidity) should rebel and throw all the old ossified codgers out.
Just one of those "deep thoughts" like they used to highlight on Saturday Night Live back when it was worth watching.
Wondered when that saying came into existence.?ÿ Discovered the when and who at the same time.
The real question is one of how to perceive anyone over 30 today.?ÿ Are they to be regarded as untrustworthy??ÿ Or, are we only to distrust the ones who were over thirty 55 years ago?
