If I lived in a subdivision, I'd put these about every 5 feet along the road frontage.

Your post made me laugh have to respond.

That reminded me of the guy I knew who painted a message on the roof of his house. It said: TAXES TOO HIGH

His daddy gave him the land with the house on it and all he could do was whine about how much he had to pay in property taxes.

We have one couple that walks their dog down our street pretty much every day. And sometimes their dog likes to use our side yard for "doin' the business". But, much to that couple's credit, they have plastic bags that they carry with them and they always clean up after their dog. There's no way I can be upset at this because they are not leaving a mess for me to clean up. Or step in. So I always smile and wave if I see them.

The roof paining is awesome. It reminds me of one time when we were setting ground control for an aerial survey of a road corridor. We had set all of the targets out on the flight day and were working to traverse between them. We knew that the flight time was from 11am to 2pm and that we had to be clear of the targets during this window. So we were out there running the traverses and we heard the aircraft coming, so both my coworker and I got up and laid on the back of the utility bed of the work truck as the plane flew over. When the photos were printed and we got copies of the proofs, we immediately grabbed the one that had our truck in it and sure enough, you could just see the two of us, acting like fools, laying on the back of the truck just to be in the picture.

Well, we considered cuddling together, but we realized that then we'd just look like a blob on the photo plate. So we laid on opposite ends of the utility bed with our arms outstretched. It looked like two "T"'s on the back of the truck.

And the client wondered how many hours you were charging them for naps?

The client was the California Department of Transportation. If anyone knows about naps on the job, they do!

Found that one in a client's yard. Google "dog no poop sign" found this pretty quick: http://www.amazon.com/Pooping-Naughty-Black-Yard-Sign/dp/B001V6U1R4/ref=pd_sim_86_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=41J6VSSDcLL&dpSrc ="sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=068AE0DS45BNRWK6BXRJ"

That reminds me of the "See Rock City" signs painted on barns throughout the Southeast. However, they were along highways and were visible from the ground.

That reminds me of these barns that were painted all across the southeast, mostly along the old highways.
