Two fine axes here. One is a 1936 National Trojan singlecone resonator. 76 years old, all original and sweet and dandy as the day she was born, full and loud and easy to play fingerstyle or slide blues. I get awesome acoustics in my woodshed, maybe because of the red fir stack in the background. The other axe is vintage 2000 Ace Hardware doublebit, with new handcarved axehandle. We got some chops here in this woodshed.
Thought some of you guitar players might enjoy the pic. Post yours if you got 'em.

Acutally I am kind of partial to the axe on the left.
I have WAY more experience with that.
that is some good looking wood but I would know more about how to use the axe on the left too.
Not exactly in the woodshed, but the hayloft is close enough. I built this squareneck dobro out of black locust several years ago. Great bluegrass guitar.
Hayloft is good too!
Tom, that is a beauty. I bet she sounds as good as she looks. Really like that guitar strap too!
