In the works since 1996, started and postponed numerous times, over-budget since the get-go, our family trip to Ireland finally begins in 3 hours. If any Irish surveyors see a family driving sporadically… constantly pulling to the right and making turns into the wrong lane… along the route below, flag us down and I’ll buy you a pint. I know I’ll be in need of one.

They do have beer in Ireland, don’t they?

Also, thanks to W.V. Cottrell, Jim Fleming and other posters who gave us advice on where to go and what to see. It helped us tonnes in our planning (and that's 204.62 lbs more than US tons, which really adds up)

Should you stumble onto any of Uncle Barak's relatives, please get photos.
