Trust me, I am over the snow and extreme cold, but, I could go for something a bit cooler than all this....... And for some reason, at least one of the airports I was in had t have been 90 degrees inside.
That'll knock the snow off the mistletoe.
Dang! All of New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah and most of Arizona and Nevada are below freezing. Stay away from eastern Idaho and all of Wyoming (-15F in Jackson Hole). Meanwhile it's almost 80 in southern Florida.
Noah and the family were seen floating across southwest Missouri a couple of hours ago. Extreme northwest Arkansas had a tornado.

I've been watching radar and it looks like you're getting your share of the Gulf, too. I haven't been paying attention to the totals but I bet we got 3 or 4 inches since sunup. There's a couple of channels close to the house I keep an eye on. They were all a lot fuller than I've seen them in a number of years. It's one big mess down here. The rain has let up a little in the last couple of hours, but it's still coming down. Temp is around 40å¡ but with the 35 mph north wind, it will make 32å¡ or lower by sunup. The next couple of days don't look real nice.
Time to put on a pot of beans...
Mrs. Cow spent quite a number of Christmas Days in her early years in Gunnison, Colorado at her grandparents' cattle ranch. The current temperature there is -24 with 100 percent humidity.
Christmas Day we drove to Philly airport to pick up our niece, air conditioning on down and back.
Green Christmas, the grass has really brightened up.
