Those who follow both college and NFL action can probably come up with quite a few examples of odd occurrences this past weekend.
One that comes to mind is the doofus defensive player for the Denver Broncos who intercepted a pass then ran it (almost) into the end zone for a touchdown. While showboating, he dropped the ball out of his hand at about the one-yard line, which qualifies as a fumble. The other players going after the lose ball caused it to go out of the back of the end zone which resulted in the Ravens getting the ball at the 20-yard line.
Another weird one was the heated dispute between two defensive coaches for the South Carolina Gamecocks during their game with the Georgia Bulldogs. Other coaches and a player or two had to pull them apart on the sidelines. Mighty fine role models for their players to admire.
UAB missed a field goal, LSU caught it up in the end zone and ran 109 yds for a TD!

Wasn't UAB losing by 2 or 3 touchdowns when they tried the 59 yard field goal? They shouldn't have even tried the kick. If it had been good, it wouldn't have helped them.
The Miami Dolphins won!
Very Weird!
WVU (vs OK) played great defense
