My contract is up next month. I want to switch to somebody else. I'm just not happy with my current webhost.

They done went and ticked me off. Don't send me some snotty email about what I should do. It was their problem and I did what they asked by deleting some file that was causing a security problem. IT WAS THEIR FILE! in THEIR program.

I deleted it. I got an email stating (I don't remember exactly I ashcanned it) that they saw I deleted the file they asked me to delete and that next time I better inform them when I have done what they asked me to do and that I need to log in and close the open ticket in regards to the problem.

Number flippin ONE moron web dudes YOU OPENED THE TICKET YOU CLOSE THE TICKET!#$%^%^&^&*&^*&^*%$%^&fn*& I did what YOU TOLD ME TO DO.

This all started a while back.
They said if I didn't delete the file then they would. I thought okay so delete it. What do I care it's not my file. I then got another email telling me I still hadn't deleted the file and I needed to delete it. I got a couple more emails. I thought what the heck why don't they just delete the stupid file? So I logged on, got in the webshell, found the stupid file, deleted it and was done with it. That kinda ticked me off too. But I was trying to be a good customer so I let it go. You see I know that they have FULL ACCESS TO ALL THE FILES. I know that THEY could have just informed customers they were going to fix the file instead of making all of us delete it or fix it ourselves. IT'S THEIR PROGRAM ON THEIR SERVER! Yeah, you could fix it but you had to do a bunch of stuff and download or was it upload or CROSSLOAD or A LOAD OF BULL IS WHAT IT WAS! They knew WHERE the file was (I had to search and thought I'd never find it) and they knew when I had deleted it. So why couldn't they just put the fixed file in?? IT WAS THEIR FOWL UP I am just another ignorant type website guy that stares off into nothingness when trying to work with MYSQL OR MYFLIPPIN ELEPHANT what the HECK! I'm gonna blow a blood vessel!

BUT NO!!! they had to go and make a huge deal while they sat back and did nothing but watch and make sure their customers deleted the stupid file!

I'm trying to archive my files and need to get everything on my computer. I probably should have done that BEFORE I sent them the email. GO AHEAD MORONS DELETE ME!

Anyway who do you guys use? YOU BETTER NOT SAY IXWEBHOSTING!:pissed: :pissed:

IXWEBHOSTING

LOL!

Man I needed to vent. I guess it worked!

Their email has NEVER WORKED RIGHT with msn. I can receive but can't send emails or reply to emails. Not all of the time just most of the time.

So if you send me an email at jmgiles@gilessurveying.com and I reply with jmgiles5730@msn.com that is why!

It, much like this thread, really helps my professional image when I can't even use my company email to clients!

IXWEBHOSTING

Don't worry about it John. I enjoyed it. Today I was the patient from Hell. But when I told them I would AMA myself if they did not clear me and release me, suddenly the doctors got their butts in gear and decided that I was not going to sue them so they did not need to keep running tests. So I am still slightly in ass mode tonight.

Have a good one, my bed is calling.

BeerLeg.com is hosted through my account at HostGator. Soon, it will move to another host when I put it on a dedicated server, but only because the new host is a friend and he is giving me a much better deal than HG can. My Harness Technology stuff will stay at HG.

If you decide to give them a shot, here is a coupon code for $9.94 off: BEERLEG2010

Or just click here.

Thanks I'll look into it.

My current host runs out the end of September. Wish they had a money back guarentee. Man that got under my skin. All would have been fine if they hadn't sent that last email as though I did something wrong. That really chaps my hide.
