Here is a link that I hope will work. Quite a ride.
Man...I would be puking my guts out if I was in one of those boats!!! :-O
I was wondering if the cameraman was going to get washed away at any moment. o.O
Now don't get me wrong -
I sure wouldn't have wanted to have been on one of those boats, but I think camera angles & perspective made it more dramatic than it really was. For instance, if you look at the segment at the 5:12 mark you see a guy standing outside the back corner of the cabing looking fairly calm.
Now don't get me wrong -
I saw him there too, and thought maybe he had done something wrong and the rest of the crew put him out of the cabin.
Just another day at the office for those guys..
Whoa! The comment at 5:50 was exactly what I was saying...
Saw no green water over the bow and only a little on deck. First time looking up at a vessel on top of a wave while you are at the bottom makes you think it will fall on you, but then soon you are looking down at them. A little further away and they disappear in a trough. Longest step I ever made was because of mistiming, stepped out of the wheelhouse, went over the fish hold hatch and the cleaning racks, by the time the Skipper got from the wheel to the door to see if I was still aboard, all was under control in the trolling pit where I came down from that one step. You can flap your arms all you want, you gain no control nor do you fly away from the wreck.
