Welcome to the web site for the Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division (DMRD), currently located in Newark, Delaware. The controversy surrounding dihydrogen monoxide has never been more widely debated, and the goal of this site is to provide an unbiased data clearinghouse and a forum for public discussion.

What are some of the dangers associated with DHMO?
Each year, Dihydrogen Monoxide is a known causative component in many thousands of deaths and is a major contributor to millions upon millions of dollars in damage to property and the environment. Some of the known perils of Dihydrogen Monoxide are:

* Death due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.
* Prolonged exposure to solid DHMO causes severe tissue damage.
* Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
* DHMO is a major component of acid rain.
* Gaseous DHMO can cause severe burns.
* Contributes to soil erosion.
* Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
* Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
* Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
* Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
* Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.
* Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere, and in hurricanes including deadly storms in Florida, New Orleans and other areas of the southeastern U.S.
* Thermal variations in DHMO are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.

Variations of this have been around for a while. A radio talk show host here in Atlanta broadcast it a few years ago and the switchboards LIT UP with folks worried about our government pumping it into all areas of the city.

That sounds like something the Kimmer would have done.
Wonder what ever happened to him after his firing. I know he never went back on the air.

Dissect the words. What does Di mean? what does Mono mean? What are the symbols for those elements? Write the formula.

you may already be suffering from the effects of this insidious chemical, especially if mixed with small quantities of yeast and grain.

I still had to google it because it is Friday and i am essentially lazy, especially on fiday.

Water.

Funny, I guess. Long way to go for a joke. I like the crude and obvious types better. There is a joke there somewhere in that statement about my spouse, but I will leave it alone...

But NEVER diluted with it AFTER distillation. Neat or on the rocks only.
