That is Teller of the magic act Penn and Teller. ?ÿThe one who reminds you geezers of Harpo Marx.
He appeared as Amy's father tonight on Big Bang Theory. ?ÿHer mother is played by Kathy Bates, who never shuts up.
"Thank you." was his one line.
Anyone else catch the Sheldon and Amy wedding?
?ÿ
Saw it. That scene where he did the hangman'noose behind his wife's back was pretty good too.?ÿ
I like the stories.?ÿ?ÿBut it?ÿtook way-too-damned-long for them to finally get hitched.?ÿ Maybe 3 seasons?
And speaking of the story line: Did anyone catch the "Young Sheldon" episode this evening??ÿ The adult Sheldon narrator gave?ÿa hint of what might be to come on the "Big Bang Theory"?ÿin his final sentence of tonight's "Young Sheldon" episode.
Stay tuned kids!
...Her mother is played by Kathy Bates, who never shuts up...

I fell in love with Kathy Bates when I saw her in "Misery" with James Caan.?ÿ My kind of girl.?ÿ You have to respect a woman that can swing an 8 pound sledge like that.
Wendell- we need a new category- " Geezers watch TV" should do it?ÿ?ÿ :snarky/off:?ÿ?ÿ ??ÿ
You are in my spot.
The woman who plays Amy is one of the hottest women on the planet.
Penny is blond eye candy but Amy, WOW! Brains talent and looks in one person.
That's Mayim Bialek... she was on a show called Blossom when she was young.
Mayim Bialek has a doctorate in neuroscience. For real.
"Geezers watch TV"
What else do you think we have energy to do in our waning years? ?ÿPolka dancing? ?ÿMountain climbing? ?ÿRace car driving?
Saw a 1962 Western in the middle of the night recently. ?ÿIt was Mariette Hartley's first movie. (Think of Polaroid commercials with James Garner) ?ÿIn the first couple of minutes she is seen dressed like a man forking dirty straw in the barn out on her father's remote farm. ?ÿShe sees some men approaching on horseback so goes running into the house to change into a dress. ?ÿThere is a 1.2 second shot of her bare back as she rips off her shirt and rolls out of sight to kick off her clod hoppers. ?ÿToday, the same movie would show every intimate detail of the transformation.

"Ride The High Country" I believe.?ÿ She did at least one "Gunsmoke" and a "Twilight Zone" about the same time.
I remember her as an attractive and freckled young filly.?ÿ She was an accomplished actress.
I might be 68 soon but I still wanna have fun.......and it don't include TV.
You, Senior Cow,?ÿ can "drive" the first one. I'm going for the second one if I can find nitro.?ÿ ??ÿ
She had quite a variety of roles, not stuck in a mold.?ÿ I remember her as Zarabeth on a Star Trek episode wearing a most engaging smile and furs that didn't look like they would keep her warm.?ÿ About that, IMDB says
She was not allowed to show her belly button in the original Star Trek series episode, Star Trek: All Our Yesterdays (1969), due to censors. But Gene Roddenberry got even: he had her show TWO belly buttons in the television movie Genesis II (1973).
