Does anyone here (or did you in days gone by) utilize a four-hoofed drive system while traversing the in the fields of the Western slope areas of Colorado, West Texas, Grand Tetons, Big Sky Country, Sedona, etc...Would love to hear stories, see pictures, and the know more about the process of working with a horse being part of the crew. @monte you are the only one here that I know of - hope you are not the only horseman.
In the last 9.997 years that I have tortured this site Monte is the only one whose main 4 wheeler is on hooves. ?????ÿ
I have never met a horse that liked me.
Will never mount up again.?ÿ Would be safer going to a rave with a crowd of POSITIVE folks from the stick a stick up your schnozz club.
Yes, several times over the years, but it's been a long time ago.
😕
Many years back I perused an ancient railroad survey book that explained how to map a survey from horseback. I wish I had that book.
The 1909 Army Engineer Field Manual I have includes how to use horses and mules but not how to survey from them.?ÿ
