Buddy in Homer just came to town, 2 nice "chicken" halibuts (about 15# ea). Combined with last falls moose my son shot, home grown taters and veggies from my folks garden this summer. mmm Think I might pick up some king crab to go with it!

I love moose meat. One of the locals shot one on my 100 acre clearcut and gave me some. Not gamey at all. Like the best roast beef you ever had.
Taking a well-deserved day off from sanding sheetrock and hitting the local mountain to enjoy some of that fresh powder.
I'm contemplating about 5# of boiled crawfish and a couple bottles of Grolsch.
Supper tonight - Luau- If I Find One
We're suppose to go to a Luau tonight for our supper. The one I was going to book has bad ratings and food poisoning problems so now I am on the hunt again for a better one. Wendell says it's something that I MUST experience while here. Who am I to argue with my husband??? 😀
