When you were a kid and you had an owie, a parent might put a BandAid on it to make you feel better quickly.?ÿ For us old folks, they now make this size of BandAid.
You know.....4/3 of all people have trouble with fractions.......

I got 12,000 with integer calculations, no significant figure manipulation required.
I assumed that "one sixth" meant 1/6 of the total amount. There is a tendancy to read it as 1/6 of the 2nd bequest in the same pattern as follows the first one.
1 horse
3 sheep
2 goats
Yup.
These puzzles are too easy for you Brainiac's. They ain't gonna get any harder either, I get a headache just reading the easy ones. ?????ÿ
grandma left 6/12 + 3/12 + 2/12 to her grandchildren and brother. That is 11/12, leaving 1/12 remainder for the dog. 1/12 of the money is $1000. So 12/12 is $12,000.
To be certain, my Cliff Clavin fall back answer did cover the pass......?ÿ?ÿ ;)?ÿ?ÿ
